Problem with WiFi

Hi,
since some day i can't connect to my wifi-router.

My iphone does not "see" any wifi net.

With my notebook and the iphone of my brother are no problems.

I've tried any hint found in the internet (reboot, reset net config, 10
minutes of fridge...)

Any other idea?

Sounds like a hardware problem to me. If it's still under
warranty, then take it to the Apple store for a replacement.

Be careful about the fridge thing. It could cause
water to condense on the (notoriously sensitive)
moisture tell tales, which would void the
warranty.

Put it in the microwave on full afterwards then. That will fix it ...

I was only joshing.

Please do not put your iPhone in the microwave to fix it.

Doing this may cause irreparable damage to the microwave.

Seriously though, freezers are known
to sometimes give enough life to a damaged
hard drives to get your data off before they
die permanently.

Do they really do anything to iPhone WiFi,
though? It seems like a transient problem
that would be just lucky enough to move
something back into the proper operating
spec would be a pretty wild stroke of luck.

Have you tried downloading one of the free wifi finder apps and see if
that app can see any WiFi networks?

Hello Klaus,

did you perform a jailbreak? After this it's possible, that the
problem you describe occours. To fix restart the iphone.

This was the first I tried. Does not help. Neither does resetting
network settings. Maybe it's the hardware.

But as I read, this often happend with 3GS, and some weeks later WiFi
"comes back"?
