Among traditional enslavers of blacks preceding the
Christian era were ... other black africans.

The enslavement of blacks by Egyptians is better
documented, though.

Among other results that had was that, for a while,
Egypt had a few generations of black pharaohs.

The greatest slave traders were (and stil are) Arab muslims. Christians
were, at best, on the outer fringes of the trade between African natives
and the Arabs.
