short update

to meet with friends and hear Mike Hanrahan do a mix of
traditional and contemporary folk songs on guitar and voice.
Today I went and got the H1N1 vaccine shot. I didn't get the
seasonal flu shot yet though but may at my doctor's office in
the next few weeks.
Tomorrow I will go for my regular blood work including lithium
level, and then will go in to the university to meet with my
supervisor, who recently got back from a trip. (I work for
him as a part-time research assistant for a few hours a month.)

Tonight I went to folk night at The Ship Pub. It was a
traditional dance night, with music provided by
The Auntie Crae Band and dance calling/instruction
provided by Ford Elms. But mostly experienced
dancers did the dancing and I sat back and watched
and listened. Since it is within 9 days before full moon
I wasn't drinking alcohol but Beck's non-alcoholic beer.
(I don't drink 1--9 days before full moon based on past
problems in that time period.)
