She was sentenced to 30 days in jail. If you are sentenced to a year in
jail do you do 30 hours in jail?
You're asking the wrong people.
In any city in the U.S., if the jail is overcrowded to the point that it is
illegal to crowd any more in according to a federal judge who has issued an
injunction, the Sheriff has no choice but to release some prisoners. The
Sheriff uses various criteria, but the most important, I suppose, would be
violent vs non-violent. So an actor who violated probation by not picking
up any trash would be a good choice.
