BOY, did I miss all of you!!!! :)

DH and I are finally moved into the new house, which is a complete and total
dream come true for us. The painting is finally finished after many 14 hour
days, and while we've still got a lot of other busy work to do, I've finally
got my computer back! Yipeeee!!!
So how is everyone????????????????? What did I miss? (I know, I know, I
missed all the good stuff, didn't I?) Is it true, did I read that JC is
pregnant? <holding my breathe anxiously and crossing every body part
imaginable!> Who else, anyone else? Births? C'mon people, throw me a bone
here! lol!
My pregnancy is going well, the baby is moving around like a maniac, lots of
really strong kicks and whatnot. Oh, and did I mention that I had my 2nd
ultrasound this monday? Yep...at 24 weeks...and it's a beautiful
baby...Hmmm, should I tell ya, or do you want to be surprised? OK, if you
want to be surprised, don't read any further, because I can't keep it to
myself anymore! ;)

It's a boy!!!! :) And I really thought I was having a girl, too! But
there he was, the first thing we saw was those little boy bits! (Guess he
got tired of Mommy referring to him as "Emma" and "She") So it's going to
be Ethan William, and right now he weighs in at a healthy 1 pound, 7 ounces.
He was wide awake during the exam, and he kept opening and closing his
mouth, and it almost looked like he was waving at us! lol! His eyes were
open, too. What an incredible experience, I just fell head over heels in
love with this little creature...I didn't expect to see his features so
clearly, but his face was just...I can't describe it, we were actually able
to see how he has my nose, DH's lips, my jawline but DH's rounder
cheeks...It was unbelievable, and I cannot wait to meet this little man in
person now!!!
Well, that's all the news for now...I think! I'm so glad to be back!

I've missed ya, girl! I was hoping you'd be back before I need to take time
off to work on our house! I'm so glad to hear that your baby is doing well!
I've had my ultrasound but the baby didn't cooperate (in breech position) so
I can't tell ya if it's a boy or girl! I have to go back for another one
soon because it didn't even feel like showing us much else! Technically, my
date got bumped into April, but you're still ahead of me. Prop your feet up
now - you've earned a big long rest!

Hey Sherry!!! (((Big hugs back))) We actually had a major nursery "oops!"
lol! I was trying for a pale, soft yellow for the walls, but instead the
paint turned out to be this screaming mimi yellow that was the color of a
school bus!!! So we add a gallon of white paint mixed into that yellow, and
it looked good to go. And we start painting...looked a bit darker than it
did in the bucket, but no biggie we think...and then the paint dries...and
it's this -how can I put this?- it's lime. I honestly don't know how this
happened, but if I leave the nursery blinds open, you can spot that room
from down the block!!! It's rather bright! lol! It doesn't help that the
carpet in there is this seafoam green that seems to pick up on the limey
undertones on the walls and amplify it...so it's either get another carpet,
which we need to do anyway, or repaint the walls, or both! ;) Never a dull
moment around here!

Hey sweetie!!!! I missed you too!!!! :) So how's everything with the
house going? It's too cool, isn't it? We keep waiting for someone to tell
us to get out! lol! You've got a coy little babe there, eh? Ethan was
being stubborn about letting the u/s tech see his other arm, she had to keep
nudging my tummy with the scanner thingie to try and get him to move around
a bit. (Oh was that a load of fun on a full bladder!) How neat, your date
got bumped up, that means you may get to meet your lil one even sooner!!!
No propping my feet up yet, girlfriend...there's still SO much to do around
here, as I know you know...And of course, I want to try and get as much done
as we can before Ethan arrives.

Yes I am pregnant. I had my second bout of blood work today to check HCG
and Progesterone, and I should be posting those results later. Now, I just
want to GROW and the baby to GROW and to start feeling it! LOL!

OMIGOD, so it's true??? I couldn't find the original post of JC's
announcement, or any of JC's posts, for that matter, so I wasn't sure!
That's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! When I first read it, I screamed out loud, and
then called my DH to tell him the good news too. (He likes to keep up to
date on who's newly pregnant, who just had their little one, who's still
trying, etc.) So we both did a little happy dance for JC and her DH. :)
Speaking of nurseries, have you decorated yours yet? (Oh and no stealing my
oh so trendy lime idea, I know it's going to be all the rage...hahaha, yeah
right!) Mine is so empty it's like it's screaming to be filled with baby
stuff! lol! (Or it could just be that damn lime paint that's screaming at
me...I really have to take pictures of this room so you can see what I mean)

I have not done a darn thing yet! I have FINALLY as of tonight decided that we
are going to use the yellow room for the nursery as opposed to the blue room.
We don't have to do any painting, except for the dresser which we are buying
from the mill store and need to finish off ourselves. I plan on starting to
clean it out in the next couple of weeks, and then start decorating and stuff
after the holidays. The rug needs to be cleaned as it's pale yellow and the
room is right now the computer room, where my doggies lay at my feet and make
the rug dirty. :)
We've decided to go with a sort of generic star/moon theme, I don't want to get
all the same kind of stuff, and am using the Starbright bedding by Kidsline.
Have you seen it? It's really cute. It's very similar to "Over The Moon" but a
little more girlish.
Then I'm gonna pick out a cute border, and get those big jumbo letter that go
on the wall to spell out Jessica.
Think she'll mind that if she comes out a little Eric instead? ;)

I am not usually a weepy person. I don't burst into tears at the drop of a
hat. My husband gave me an undecipherable look the other day (no, I
couldn't just _ask_ him what was on his mind) and I fell apart. After I
had recovered, I told him I didn't know what was wrong with me. He took a
few moments (but not too long, or I would have burst into tears again),
and said,"well, I'm not sure, but you might be pregnant." He has been
wonderful.
It can get annoying, though. I feel like such a silly girl. :)
