Position: Salesforce.com Senior Developer (Three Positions)
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

The SalesForce.com Tier 3 Technical Team is responsible for managing
the overall implementation of SalesForce.com for the client. The Tier
3 Technical Team manages the resolution of all technical issues
escalated to the Tier 3 as well as implementation of various system
and process enhancements on the SalesForce.com platform. The
SalesForce.com Senior Developer will work within the Tier 3 Technical
Team to implement various system / process enhancements, small to
medium projects and technical solution to resolve any system / process
issues.
Using the salesforce.com platform and the force.com developer toolkit
(i.e. Apex, VisualForce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, and
Web Services & Metadata APIs), this senior developer resource will
build salesforce.com product extensions and develop new native
products on the Force.com platform.

Essential Functions (Tasks and Responsibilities):

• Perform technical evaluations, solution and design approaches to
business solution needs

• Lead and/or contribute to the technical side of projects and create
solutions to meet business challenges and resolve system / process
issues

• Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements

• Write technical approach and design documentation

• Develop and implement technical solutions to address system /
process issues and to implement new system / process enhancements

• Execute unit and system tests to ensure that the developed solution
satisfactorily meets the business needs

• Participate and contribute to implement SalesForce.com best
practices, development standards for the implementation at the client
location.

• Work with the IT team members to implement solutions to integrate
SalesForce.com to IT systems internal to the Client.

Qualifications & Experience:
• 3+ years of Saleforce.com experience in both development and analyst
roles

• Experience designing and implementing new objects, workflow rules,
custom layouts, and other standard SalesForce.com customizations

• Experience designing, coding, and implementing APEX code (Triggers,
Classes, Components, etc), VisualForce components, SOQL statements,
and other advanced SalesForce.com customizations

• Strong experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications -
including XML, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript

• Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating
technology tools into a client solution

• Experience with data migration practices, ETL tools, and enterprise
integration technologies

• Strong Web and internet related skills including HTML/XML and
JavaScript experience

• Knowledge of and experience with enterprise systems, including PRM,
CRM, SFA, and ERP and strong understanding of enterprise integration
