Dear Prospective Employer:
I am presently seeking programming work on a contractual/telecommuting basis.
I have been programming in Foxpro since the fall of 1989. Working for the
University of Rhode Island's student union, I have developed an event scheduling
program using Foxpro 2 in a Novell LAN environment. My program is presently used
as the primary facility scheduling program for the entire university. Having
worked closely with end users to ensure a perfect product, I feel that my
appreciation of end user concerns is quite comprehensive.
In addition to the aforementioned program, I have also co-authored a work
order program, and am now finishing up work on a purchase order program. While
I do not presently own a developer's copy of Foxpro (the only Foxpro work I
have done is for my employer, who owns a copy), I am prepared, when employment
is available, to purchase a copy at the drop of a hat.
I welcome any inquiries you may have into my qualifications, and further
direct you to the /msdos/database/foxpro directory on msdos.archive.umich.edu
for some small sample programs, including slider.zip and message.zip. Some
programs which I will be uploading soon include smartpop.zip, and tile.zip. All
include source and brief documentation. Resume follows. I have only included
relevant experiences. Please inquire for a more complete resume.
