management and care of GMO areas 2-7 at the
University and covered a wide range of duties
including the delegation of jobs, the super-
vision of contractors, and the installation
of landscape and flower beds. Also managed
and supervised projects such as the River
Bank and the Slagel Building Project.
Responsible for directing and monitoring
much of the Ice Storm cleanup (1991-present).

SPECIFIC Pesticide Application - Organized and applied pesticides on
EXPERIENCE private and commercial properties, diagnosed pest problems
and calibrated pesticides for treatment.
Fertilization & Disease Control - Treated and applied
chemical fertilizers or other pathological treatments for
the preservation of diseased trees and shrubs.
Arborculture - Pruned, shaped, cabled and removed trees to
enhance growth and appearance
Sales - Sold, estimated many tree and landscape jobs for
commercial companies as well as assisted in the bidding
of jobs for the University of Rochester
Greenhouse Work - Directed all phases of an operational
greenhouse, including preparing plant medium, fertilization,
plant propagation, pest management, greenhouse maintenance,
replacing windows, painting glass, and installing watering
systems.
Landscaping - Planted and designed landscape settings, such
as flower beds for cosmetic features as well as practical
uses of the plants for the environment.
IPM - Assisted in the development and structure of the
Integrated Pest Management System now in use at the
University of Rochester for the purpose of monitoring,
diagnosing and treating plants.
Lawn Care - Prescribed programs of pesticides and fertilizer
as well as physical care for lawns to enhance growth
appearance.
