You will find my college preparation well rounded. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and an Associates of Arts degree in Art Education.
In the last twenty years, I have gained working experience in graphic design. The last nine years of that time I have worked on the Macintosh platform and the last three years I have included the IBM platform as well. My experience ranges from pattern design; of carpets, gift wrap, gift bags, greeting cards; packaging design of labels, bow bags, ribbons, card boxes, cartons, and containers of all sorts; advertising design for newspapers, business cards, flyers, logos, brochures, slide show presentations, web graphics, and direct mail advertising. This includes all specifications needed by each vendor for output and production of each product. My experience also includes management skills, public relations and database management.
My list of software knowledge includes Mac OS 8.6, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Aldus Freehand, Corel Draw, QuarkXpress, PageMaker, Watch It, Flight Pre-Press Navigator, Windows 98, Microsoft Excell, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft FrontPage 2000, Desktop Mailer, Visual FoxPro6.0 and the basics of the NT operating system.
At the present time I am working for a graphic design/mail house industry as Store Manager. My responsibilities include overall management of the business plus designing campaigns, such as, logos, business cards, flyers, brochures, slide show presentations, custom mail-merged mailers with databases purchased for the customer’s specific criteria.
My Salary History is approximately 34,000.00 per year with excellent benefits.
