Sr. SQA Analyst - Lead
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinates resource and task assignments for
Sr. Software Quality Analysts and Software Quality Analysts on
assigned projects • Assists in establishing goals, monitoring progress
of assignments, and providing input to performance reviews for
designated test team members • Assists in collection of metrics as
they pertain to assigned projects • Recommends and implements process
improvements • Acts as lead in test planning for assigned projects •
Works closely with customers, software development groups and SQA
teams to facilitate delivery of software releases • Provides subject
matter expertise and training to Senior Software Quality Analysts and
Software Quality Analysts • Assists in training of ancillary
department personnel in the delivery and support of new software •
Reviews and tracks all defects for completeness and validity,
utilizing designated department tools • Create and execute test
scripts for Integration, System and Regression testing phases of the
software development lifecycle • Assist in maintaining hardware,
software, and configuration of System Test Lab Maintain hardware,
software, and configuration of parallel stores and retailers lab •
Monitor parallel and pilot stores to ensure complete accuracy of data
from test software • Assist in writing testing procedure documentation
• Work closely with customer, development and support groups to
facilitate software releases • Assist in training of ancillary
department personnel in the delivery and support of new software •
Assist Sr. Software Quality Analysts with the preparation of all
documents and manuals • Train and update the department on new
products
MANAGING WORK: • Understands scope, priority and timelines for
assigned work • Manages workload to deliver quality deliverables that
meet requirement • Communicates status of assignments to supervisor •
Notifies supervisor of issues that impact productivity or ability to
meet expectations • Adheres to CSF processes in completing assignments
• Follows standards/uses standard toolsets • Assists Manager in
tracking progress, prioritizing work, developing time estimates and
work plans and assisting less experienced team members • Resolves
issues or escalates to Manager, if necessary • Identifies
opportunities to improve existing conditions and processes &
implements solutions • Creative in problem solving • Does not miss
important items • Does not need to be told the same thing multiple
times • Checks work in to central repositories
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate or Bachelor degree in MIS type study or
equivalent industry experience
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 6 years Software Quality Testing experience
with demonstrated test planning experience
