Seeking European Relocation

Dear Sirs:
I am currently a landscape architect at Ivey, Harris and Walls, Inc., a land
design firm in Orlando, Florida. I am writing to express interest in
working for a European company where I can use my diverse horticultural,
AutoCAD and landscape architectural experience. I believe my talents and
knowledge can help this company to provide quality service to their clients.
Conversely, working for this kind of company could help to expand my
professional experience by working in Europe.
Ever since I finished course work from the Studies Abroad Program in
Cortona, Italy (a branch of the University of Georgia) which subsequently
helped me complete a five-year Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture,
I had hoped to some day relocate to Europe. That day is now.
My strengths are plant material knowledge, (zones: 10-5 in U.S.A.) AutoCAD
and the understanding of traditional town, post modern, pedestrian oriented
urban design principles. I have practical experience with several
design/build landscape contractors. I have also worked for over three years
for landscape architectural firms including my fathers architectural
practice.
Besides my formal educational experience in Italy, I have travel extensively
to most of the greatest designs in Europe, United States and South America.
In 1993, I obtained a work permit and in England and Ireland that produced a
job in Brighten Beach. While at Ivey, Harris, & Walls, I successfully
networked and established leads in South America for prospective projects. I
have greatly enjoyed working internationally and learning about other
cultures. I wish to continue this by relocating to Europe while also working
in a profession related to landscape architecture.
