The CEO of a small but growing company that provides Quality
consulting to government agencies and corporations needs someone to
whom she can delegate writing and other tasks.
Duties will include:
o. Writing/editing proposals in response to government RFPs
o. Writing whitepapers
o. Writing case studies and customer testimonials
o. Ghostwriting blog and Twitter posts
o. Updating website content
o. Other tasks with which the CEO needs help
Notes:
o. The CEO and company executives are experts in their field, but much
of the expertise is �tribal knowledge� which needs to be written
down.
o. It is not clear if there is enough work to keep a full time staff
writer busy or if they just need an ongoing part time contractor, so
they are accepting resumes from both. (During the interview you
should see what they have vs. where they want to be, and see if you
can offer a guesstimate of how much work there is that needs to be
done.)
o. They absolutely want someone to work on-site and interface with
other employees at least part of the time, so you must be local or at
least daily commuting distance from Palm Springs. (Sorry, no remote
workers.)
Requirements:
o. Current experience writing proposals in response to government
RFPs (Required)
o. Current experience writing case studies and customer testimonials
(Required)
o. Current experience writing whitepapers (Required)
o. Current experience writing blog and Twitter posts (Required)
o. Have excellent samples to show, both printed and online
(Required)
o. Previous experience in Quality a plus
o. Certification from the American Society for Quality a MAJOR plus
Other Notes:
o. Authorized US workers only -- client cannot sponsor or transfer H1
