Wow.
And poor Erin dressed in her Giraffe camouflage looking at him like wtf?

No wonder I dont watch him; but you have to admit he sure has ways to
attempt to beef up his ratings!

I occasionally watch him. This was one that I watched. Did you notice that
he badly criticized BS for making negative comments and two sentences later
he starts SCREAMING negative comments that dwarfed those of BS. I doubt
that Bernake will pay much attention to him, but unfortunately the marked
does, at least for a day or two. I wanted to stuff a sock in his mouth.

gosh I agree w/you 100%...its funny on some of the boards...they are
saying this video alone is what puched the market down friday, it was
actually down 75-100 right before it aired so by bob wald rule of logic
this alone crashed the market.

And folks talking about changing everything, going cash, etch because of
this? Sheesh!

I go to the gym everyday usually at 6, and they have him on the tube...I
plug my ears w/my mp3(its not an ipod!! gasp!!) but look at the tv...and
can read the screen....and often wish I could change the channel. Altho
it can be quite comforting to have comfortably numb in your ears while
watching cramer roll around on the floor :)

Yeah, I think he drove the market down even further than BS did. ;-) No
problem; I might do some buying on Monday because of this even though I
said I was going to hold off. I'm lookin' to add more EFA at a good
price. Hey, maybe we will get a small rate cut out of the FED because
of this. Ya never know. Homeowners in trouble are definitely going to
need more help from somewhere.

I don't think we're see a rate cut, but they might hint at it and that
might be enough to calm the market down.

Now with this guy he may also say that they are very concerned that
this problem is going to spread.

PS I haven't started to read Randall's book yet. I'm a little worried
that she will talk about all possible universes even one where Bob
Wald is the head of the FED.

keep in mind that many of these so called "loan defaults" are not loan
defaults, but actually "refinances"...many many people are refinancig
their "arms" to fixed rate mortgages and when they do, they get late on
payments , but those subprime loan lenders do get the money for those
loans that are refinanced, or they get the real estate. my point is a
few f these beaten down stocks are going to come out smelling like roses
in a few quarters.

i love watching cramer. he reminds me of my old lawyer. throwing the fit
is just an act to make a point, a point that cannot be made any other
way but by throwing that fit. my lawyer got a write up in the local
newspaper one time. he had never lost a case in his life. he died of
cancer at 72,still undefeated, still practicing law on his deathbed . now
i have his son as my lawyer. my point is that cramer is one of the few
"wise men" you ever see or hear in the media. and sometimes it takes a
few weeks or even months to grasp the concept he is trying to give to
his audience. i recorded a few of his shows and played them back a year
later. he is a genius. but like he admits, he is no always right because
there are so ant hidden factors that you never imagine when investing in
any company.

Yeah, the FED will most likely try to see if this credit crap can sort
itself out some on its own. But they are notorious for acting late if
it be the case that a rate cut would help.

Yeah, I think I will wait on buying anything... we might get even some
lower buying opportunities if more negativity prevails. The market is
setup for it. But overall, earnings are still decent and insiders have
been buying. Next week should be interesting as to which side is going
to prevail.

Ouch! Don't worry, she won't do that to ya.

Let me say that is just a guess. I haven't seen Cramer's rant.

Cramer really was scary. I think he was genuinely irate at the Fed, but the
language was tame compared to what he would have said had he been at the
hedge fund.

Cramer is not for everyone, Carolyn, but two of my ten picks in our game are
Cramer stocks (MA, NYX) for a net return of +10%YTD.

how does something become a "cramer stock"? because he's mentioned it?
he flip flops so often....since I follow goog (not cramer) I know he's
dissed it when it runs up (its too high) and then as it keeps running up
he says buy it and it falls.

I've played options on nyx a few times, not because of cramer (I had no
idea it was a 'cramer stock' until just now). Why cant it be a Carolyn
stock since I've played it? :)

I've bought a few of his picks (been a long time back). I made some small
profits as I recall.

I'm still holding a few of his more favorite long term picks; HON, LMT,
T, HPQ, CVX, NVO. I think NVO is the best so far YTD for me. With the
exception of NVO, these are also highly rated by Schwab Equity Ratings
(no Schwab rating for NVO). Cramer said a few months ago to take some
NVO off the table after going up around 20 percent but being a foreign
allocation I held on to all of it and it went up another 10 percent and
did OK last week. HON is doing very well also YTD. He used to talk
about BAC being good but that they kept buying too many other companies.
I'm still holding it like a dummy. ;-) It's got a pretty good dividend
though.
