It was $41.00 not too long ago, and now it is around 35.

The PE ratio is making htis one look extrememly attractive. What's
your take on it?

Are you looking at the last 12 months P/E??? The market has changed
considerably since then or are you trying to guess what they will earn in
the next year???

If for very long term, maybe. Wouldn't touch it myself with a 10 foot
2x4. ;-) Guess you haven't heard about sub-prime and there are going to
be fewer homeowners fixing up their homes. Probably not done going down
yet. But then there will be months of going sideways until housing
recovers.

I subscribe to Investors Business Daily. They do not recommend buying until
a base is formed and then there is a breakout. This means to wait until HD
begins to move up on hi volume before buying. You may not get the lowest
price but you will not buy with the chance that the stock will languish or
go lower. There is plenty of upside once the stock decides to move up.

I hear folks bragging about buying forclosed houses at 40% off of their
original sales price. But I think folks buying forclosed houses now are
paying too much. Wait a year and forclosed houses will be even cheaper.

Watch HD but do not buy yet.

My RSI system, which I use primarily for ETFs, can evaluate stocks too. The
rating for HD is close to zero. With that said I can see where there is a
potential for a move to $41, but I don't see it in the technicals. They are
way too negative.
