you said it yourself... it isn't the same stock
I'm in the preliminary stages of all this research
(using google.groups servers as my storage)
so I've got nothing at this time about this or any of these stocks which
I'm posting by industry groups other than..THEY EXIBIT FAVORABLE SUPPORT
THAT STANDS OUT FROM THE PACK.
I would hypothesize that this support comes from large investors, perhaps
they/them or mutual fundies. dunno dont care. it izwhutitiz

At times "retrieval" of data from this "database" by
"keyword" has been all but impossible...but again
appears to be working well enough that "CAI ausound"
turns up the following, slightly edited for brevity, which
shows CACI was an "ausound" "pick" until AFTER
I stated I owned it (to be fair, they DID get some
bad press about some torture in Iraq by a
recently-purchased security firm that represented
about 1% of their business):

Lifted the stocks from security stockwatch's website

I've indicated with an arrow one's I like/watch/own
doesn't mean that they're particularly ready to buy if it has an arrow
doesn't mean they suck if they don't have an arrow either
I would love if you scoured them all and found me some winners!

No, I think CAI is still CACI International, a systems integrator
specializing in defense/intelligence, and CANI is still Carreker,
whoever they are.
I've owned CAI since it was CACI back in 2000/2001, the
first of about a handful of stocks I'm holding long-term as long
their business doesn't get screwed up. CAI at my purchase
had a P/E ratio of about 8 with a stable 20%+ growth
rate for years. Of course, they got a giant pop on 9/11/01,
were no longer a screaming bargain, and the price stalled out, but the
company continues to perform so I've gritted my teeth and
held on.
Feel free to buy it to keep my price propped up but don't say I
recommended it. I know I could have made at least five times
as much money by selling it six months ago and putting it into some
short-term fliers, but like my 401K plans I'm "doing the right thing"
and not screwing around with certain "investments" as an
experiment. So far the results of the experiment are that it's
better to screw around.

they can have earnings & revenue from here to tuesday and it won't

nevermind if the CAI subcontractors were complicit in the nekkid

again, revenue, ongoing contracts, renewing contracts, earnings, but
that
flesh pile thang. I've got a no touchy opinion on CAI

You do all this "by hand"? If it is merely a matter of
simple technical "support" wouldn't it be easier to use a
program that scours the entire universe of stocks and
finds those that meet that criteria, in a matter of seconds
or minutes?

http://seekingalpha.com/article/174150-chinese-wind-power-plant-coming-
to-u-s-soil?source=yahoo
On Wednesday, A-Power Energy Generation Systems (APWR), a Chinese wind
turbine maker, announced (see New York Times article by Kate Galbraith
here) plans to start construction of a wind turbine production plant
somewhere in the U.S. next year.
A-Power has signed an agreement with private equity firm US-REG (U.S.
Renewable Energy Group) to locate a site for the new plant and to
participate in the development and construction of the facility.
Initially the plant is expected to to be 320,000 square feet and produce
1,100 megawatts of wind energy turbines annually, enough to power 330,000
homes. The facility is expected to employ approximately 1,000 American
workers. The announced plan calls for many of the key wind turbine
components to be sourced from U.S. manufacturers, further expanding the
number of jobs created in the United States. Of course, new construction
will also produce jobs of a less permanent nature.
"The decision to construct this wind energy facility in the United States
is the direct result of America's commitment to renewable energy and the
strength and skill of the American workforce," said Cappy McGarr, US-REG
Managing Partner. "This project expects to create thousands of American
jobs..."
A-Power is the turbine supplier for a planned wind farm in Texas that
will cover approximately 36,000 acres. The wind farm will cost about $1.5
billion, with a capacity of 600 MW. This project will use about 50% of
one year's production from the proposed plant. US-REG is also co-
developer, along with China's Shenyang Power Group (SPG), of the wind
farm. A-Power is a shareholder in SPG.
About 85% of the components of the wind turbines will be sourced in the
U.S. The nacelles (high value gearboxes) will be sourced in China, but
assembled in the U.S. To further complicate the internationalization of
these projects, A-Power has a Joint Venture partnership with GE
Drivetrain Technologies (GE) to produce wind turbine gearboxes (nacelles)
in Shenyang.
It is likely that political pressure has accelerated these moves to more
U.S. manufacture. The Texas project had been criticized by Sen. Charles
Schumer (D, New York) because it appeared to be proceeding with imported
turbines. According to the New York Times article, Schumer has welcomed
the new announcement.
