FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WEBSITE:

http://www.ferc.gov/industries/lng.asp

QUOTE:

"There are about 40 LNG terminals that are either before FERC or being
discussed by the LNG industry for North America. Eight terminals (7
import and 1 export) are already operating on the East Coast, Gulf Coast,
Puerto Rico and Alaska (export).

Currently, there are 16 facilities under FERC jurisdiction in the
continental US. Twelve of the facilities are land-based, peak-shaving
plants that liquefy and store LNG during the summer (low demand) months
for sendout during winter (high demand) months. The remainder are
baseload LNG import terminals, which are the focus of this LNG section."

"Natural gas continues to be the economic and environmental fuel of
choice in the US. This growing trend has created a demand that cannot
be met solely by domestic or Canadian production. In the US, natural gas
production in the lower 48 states has been declining.

About 96 percent of the world's proven natural gas reserves are outside
of North America. At the same time, the US is consuming about 25 percent
of the world's annual natural gas production.

With projected decreases in conventional onshore and offshore natural gas
production and the projected decline in natural gas imports from Canada
through to 2025, growth in US natural gas supplies will depend on non-
conventional domestic production, natural gas from Alaska, and imports of
LNG.

In order for the US to meet its increasing demand for natural gas, LNG
must become an increasingly important part of the US energy mix. The
National Petroleum Council's September 2003 report estimates that LNG
could increase from less than 2 percent now to as much as 12 percent of
the US gas supply by 2025. Some estimates are even higher.

In the Energy Information Administration's Annual Energy Outlook 2005
report, total demand for natural gas is projected to increase at an
average annual rate of 1.5 percent from 2003 to 2025. EIA estimates that
LNG could account for as much as 21 percent of the total U.S. natural gas
supply in 2025. This equates to a daily regasification deliverability of
about 17.5 Bcf/d."

It this what is called bottom feeding.. buying the unattractive thus
taking advantage of the deep discounts.. This risky trading should
never account for more than 5% of your risk money. But sometimes
negative news can be trade on to great gain.

No.
imo bottom feeding is when you look for stocks that show promise but
have been beaten down
for one reason or another. If you look at the financials of sng you
will see that their net income is getting smaller.
It looks like the company is headed towards bankruptcy.
I own Arsenal Energy Inc. TSE:AEI as a bottom feeder which at bought
at 44cents/share.
If you look at the financials of AEI you will see that the company was
profitable before the crash
lost value during the crash but is now slowly recovering.
And yes you are correct to say that no more the %5 should be in risky
investments.
