Just want to make sure I got this correct,

If Oil goes up, go with DIG.

If Oil goes down, go with DUG.

I think I have this philosophy correct?

Read these very carefully:

http://www.proshares.com/funds/dug.html
http://www.proshares.com/funds/dig.html

Are you trading with Monopoly Money in a tracking portfolio?

Yep, I keep a tracking portfolio on Google that
has around 50 different stocks/ETF's in there.

OK, one should always conduct ones own due diligence before committing
any actual funds.

Good luck to you.

I see you're paying attention: DIG/DUG moved -/+ 22% today.

Oil is moving south:

Oil ends at 13-month low
==================
Disappointing retail sales point to slower demand from U.S. consumers
and businesses.
October 15, 2008: 3:05 PM ET

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Oil prices sank Wednesday as investors saw
further signs of economic weakness and worried that a U.S. recession
could kill demand for fuel.

U.S. crude for November delivery ended the day down $4.09 to $74.54 a
barrel, the lowest settlement since Aug. 31, 2007 when the front-month
contract closed at $74.04 a barrel.

Oil investors have been concerned about falling demand since crude
futures peaked at a record $147.27 a barrel in mid-July.
