What are you talking about?
They have $12 mill in cash! no obligations
They are looking for a buyer of Senetek or parts of their business, so
the cash at hand be much larger and the stock will rise mayfold
Senetek sold their Kinertin product line for $37mill in 2004. Their
newest Pyratine based product are much more potent and are
scientifically well documented by 3 parties.
This product line and the other products and patents are much more
valueable than the $37 mill.
Market Cap is 10.70M, and that is VERY cheap for such a company!
Senetek plc
(SNKTY.OB)12:42pm ET: 1.30 -(0.10) -(7.14%)
Net loss for the quarter was $1.251 million or $(0.16) per share, compared
with net loss of $1.050 million or $(0.14) per share in the third quarter
of 2008
Operating expenses for the third quarter of 2009 increased 9% as compared
to the third quarter of 2008. Administration, sales and marketing expense
rose as the Company continued a consumer campaign for the Pyratine line of
products partially offset by a reduction in research and development.
Senetek expects to maintain or decrease investment in research and
development of new skincare products and maintain or decrease sales and
marketing expenses for the Pyratine line and other new compounds.
Net loss for the third quarter of 2009 was $1,251,000 as compared to a net
loss of $1,050,000 for the third quarter of 2008. The increased net loss in
2009 is primarily due to the increased advertising and marketing of
Pyratine products in the third quarter of 2009.
Should the Company be faced with currently unanticipated significant cash
requirements in connection with gaining regulatory approvals of its
products currently in development or in connection with protecting its
patents or defending against patent infringement litigation, the Company's
present capital resources might be inadequate to fund its capital needs.
Additionally, if the Company were to engage in a business combination
transaction, its current cash position could be adversely impacted and its
need for additional financing accelerated, although the impact of any such
transaction cannot be evaluated at this time.
The CEO has a vast amount of shares and options.
NO WAY is he going to let the value of those just slip through his
fingers by letting parice of the Senetek share .
He knows if he wants to maximize the value of his stocks and options he
needs to sell of the Skin Care and preferably sell Senetek as a Package
to large Pharmaceutical company, who can benefit from all of the product
s and patents. Such a company would have the sales and marketing
resources that is needed
Such a sale would blast the Senetek share to a price in the area of 7-10
at a minimum, but likely a much higher price.
