DEAR dearborn bancorp (in bankruptcy and taken out by FDIC) is up
70% as a newby tries to cover a short.

GCOG is a winner bob, total value of all trades today is around three
bux.
I gave a homeless guy five bux this morning, i guess he called his

i was thinking, if ng stays below $3. n over 50% of all cars/trucks
could start using ng .
if oil went below $25 90% of all oil companys would go bk.
chap 11.
with ng prices as they are. only reason it hasnt happened already is oil
prices are up so high.
now 90% of the oil companys would come back but.
maybe closer to 80% would come back.
but whatd hurt more is stock holders would go bust.
just thinking out loud.

short what i said was, ng prices are down,if oil prices go down to where
they should be.under $50,
alot of stock prices will drop ALOT. And financing will go away.cost to
the oil companys will stay the same....mutual funds etc will drop from
stock prices falling...retirement accounts etc.
chain reaction....
if cars go ng..itll lower oil prices n i dont think its enough to raise
ng prices....
hmmmmm

There is a big difference between oil and NG. There are many products
besides energy that come from oil. NG will replace coal before oil,
as far as energy is concerned.

They've been putting up charging stations for electric
cars around here. They put up one in the library parking
lot, then they put up another one. I've never seen anybody
using them for the 3-4 days it would take to go another
20 miles, so yesterday when I was walking over to the
park to do my exercises I noticed they were putting up
a third one for nobody to use...

First our town installed charging stations at the town parking garage
adjacent to the railroad station seven years ago as part of a joint Federal
and Ford program.

Second, what's wrong with charging it inside my garage at home? I assure you
it's not big deal to run a 220V line into the garage.

Go to work? The one I've seen here in sarasota...Im told there is more than one but I've only seen one is conveniently located right in the middle of corporate down town...so peeps plug their cars in and go to work. There was an article in the local paper that the local gov is trying to devise a way to start charging for the service. Guess they need to make up for the bagged parking meter fiasco.

Well, duh, yeah, which is why the best use of stations would
be in company parking lots...coast in with just a few milliamps
to spare, spend your eight hours goofing o--err, working hard,
then you're all charged up for another act of electric car
range brinksmanship if you live more than two blocks from the
company...

One company I worked at about 12 years ago had not one but
two die-hard fans of the old General Motors EV-1 (this was
in a company of about 400 people), they could have used the
stations for their commuter cars before GM crushed them on
orders from the Bush administration...

All the ones I've seen take Visa, MasterCard, etc. Gotta wonder
what the markup is on the $2 or so of electricity you would use
for a typical charge...
