Hi all,

Can anyone tell me which brand or company to buy MIL-C-24368/2
receptacle? It's 500amp type and I find it difficult to search in the
internet. We're an importer of industrial equipment and there's a
engineering bidding requiring such items.

Thanks!

John

I don't recall *ever* seeing a mil spec printed on any product I have ever
purchased nor have I ever seen this in any consumer product
descriptions/specifications. (Things you would find on the internet.)

Therefore I think you should first get the mil spec and see what it
describes, then search for that product.

Then find the manufacturer of that product or similar products and see if it
meets the mil spec.

Or find the product or similar products used somewhere and look at the name
on it. Then contact manufacturers.

Just searching for the mil spec on this, it looks to be a marine outlet for
a ship. So might also try finding forums or Usenet groups which discuss
boating, marine, etc. electrical topics. Like search for boating forum. Then
ask there. Or perhaps military / navy forums.

Last resort, try calling the military. But I would expect to spend a day on
the phone being transferred from person to person going this route!

Good luck!
