Hi HGL

On the back of my 'legal' copy of ISO 9001 it states

'Copyright subsists in all BSI publications and no part may be
reproduced in any form without the prior permission in writing of BSI.'
There follows further dire warnings about what might happen to
offenders <bg> - and then it suggest that you contact the Copyright
Manager, Publications at Milton Keynes.

Now if you're not in the UK, I guess you'd need to go direct to ISO ? -
or whichever national body has its name on the front of your copy of
ISO 9k.

At one time, external assessors were very keen on copywriter
infringements (possibly something to do with BSI doing the assessment
and BSI charging vast amount of cash for copies of the Standards,
maybe?).

If you're publishing something that will earn you money - training
courses, books etc then I would think it might be worth asking them
first. If it's for 'internal consumption' within your company then it's
probably not such a big deal.

Hope this helps
