Subject: TQM of Japanese and European organisations

Dear Sirs,

I am studying Mechatronic in the tenth semester at the Linzer Kepler
university.
(Mechatronic: is a new study, which combines the fields of mechanics,
electronics and computer sciences)

For about five years, I have been working part time beside studying in the
fields of high-quality management and totally Quality management. With
interest, I pursue the high-powered evolution as well as the enormous
possibilities of a businesswide quality management system to the basis of
the standard EN ISO 9000.

Since nowadays most companies are confronted with increasing demands on
organization and therefore management at amplified scale, I am engaged in a

study of the the possibilities and the applications of Japanese quality
engineering (Kaizen, QFD, Poka-Yoke, etc.).

Now I would like to complete my study in order to face the versatile
challenges of the future. The best way to do this is to meet the praxis in
Japan. A year scholarship is offered for this by the Austrian Federal
Ministry. In addition too that, an existing contact to a Japanese
scientist(as attendant) is required.

Because of that I would like to get in touch with Japanese people who are
involved in that kind of field. Further would like to link all my knowledge

together into a multilateral project work (with Japanese and European
companies/universities). As project, I plan a multimedia CD on the subject
"(Quality-)Management Methods of Japanese and European organizations". This

CD should have guide character.

I am interested in the following two main things:

a) JAPANESE CONTACT
contact persons in Japan, either someone who in involved in the field of
quality management because of his job, his organisation, personal interests

or because of university research.

b) PROJECT-COOPERATION
If anybody is interested on the planned CD-project or anybody thinks this
could be interesting for his organisation, please send me an email for
detailed information or for further cooperation.

I already thank for your relief and/or your interest in a cooperation and
look forward to your response - Peter Huber
