Following is an exchange of e-mail messages I have had with the Tappi
staff. You may wish to express yourself to them as well.

Hello Mary Beth -
Tappi Journal is a time honored publication in our industry. It has
survived all these years for a reason even as so many other "paper"
publications have closed. I'm sure you know the list well. Don't you
think it would be respectful to the Tappi membership if the very
drastic step being contemplated is aired WITH that membership BEFORE a
decision is made? I certainly feel we deserve that consideration.
Please take this up with the senior staff and Tappi officers and urge
them to move with caution.
Best regards,
Everett Harriman
