I am a green card holder since 2006, I have the 10 year card. I left
the states to visit my family on the 26th of last month. I have not
seen them for a long time and I would like to stay with them as long
as I can. How long can I stay whithout getting into a hassle and
interupt my time toward the citizenship? Thanks for any help.

I think it's around 6 months or so - depends on the sort of Greencard you
have I think.
You can fill out a form, or something, to extend your stay outside the
country. An extended stay will reset the timer for your citizenship, if you
are so inclined..
