Hi,
Is it possible for a Canadian citizen who has been working in the US
for the last 6 years on H1 visa to sponsor his wife who is also working
in the US?

Yes, Canadian citizens may sponsor their spouses while residing abroad,
providing that they include with application declaration of intention to
move back to Canada as soon as sponsored spouse gets PR visa (some evidence
of preparation for such move is also required).
