My PR Application Status shows "DECISION MADE" ... "A decision has
been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning
this decision."

How long does it take for the High Commission to contact an applicant
after the decision is made?
Is there any way we can find out what decision is made?

On an optimistic note -- What are the next steps if my application is
approved?

Experts, kindly advise.
Thank you.

You give so little information about your case that no answer is possible.
When did you apply, under which category, what steps have been completed -
meds for example, etc.

Firstly, thank you Jim.

My application processing started in July of 2003. I applied for the
PR under the Skilled Worker category.

I had received a letter from the High Commission about 3-4 months ago
asking for any documents that I wished to finally submit. Thereafter,
I submitted whatever I thought was relevant. The online status on
their website has changed from "Under Process" to "Decision Made".
This status change has happened sometime in the last 3 months. I have
not heard from them as yet.

Kindly suggest.
Thanks again.

Hi,

I was surprised by the length of your application process. It has been
more than 5 years.. I am wondering how you feel about it? Where did
you apply? Man, it is too long. Does it not disturb you that you have
waited so long?

Thanks

The "Decision made" entry in your Ecas file is one of the most irritating
things about Ecas . For various reasons they do not give any indication
whatever about what sort of decision was made. Unfortunately you will just
have to wait until you get a letter or email from the visa office to find
out what the decision was. It could be good news or bad. There is usually
a delay from the time of the entry to actual receipt of the letter. Sorry I
cannot be more specific. It should only be a few weeks from the date of the
entry in Ecas
Good luck,

Hi Experts
My PR Application Status now shows "DECISION MADE" ... "

"Medical reports have beed recieved - A decision has

been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning
this decision."

Earlier i had been askedto undertake the medicals and forward all
passports to the consulate.
The medicals were completed three weeks ago - the status was changed
on the website two days back...

Is there any way we can find out what decision is made?

Experts, kindly advise.
Thank you.

Hi
I have been granted the PR !!!!! - we got the stamped passports about
10 days after the DECISION made appeared on the website.

Hope you got yours as well by now ..... you will any of these days :)

Prasad
