Buffalo requires that if you work in Canada to provide a:
1- Work Permit photocopy.
2- Letter from Employer (saying that they will be willing to hire you
indefinitely).
My question is - if I now work as a self-employed contractor - would
this affect my PR application to Buffalo? Would they require a new
Letter by the end of the process? Will a letter from my own company be
satisfactory?
Appreciating any input.
Please note that normally you cannot get work permit as
self-employed. The enterpreneur clause is an exemption, AFAIK
reviewed in case by case bases (read: complicated), if you can
show that your job will provide a "Significant Benefit" to
Canada; i.e. will create significant employment to Canadian,
either during or after your project.

IMHO at least this will complicate things. I strongly suggest
you to get an honest and competent immigration professional
(in this case, probably a consultant) who specialized in this
kind of case to help your case.
