A month ago, a wound healed on my forhead, with the aid of paper
stitches, that was by the impact of blunt rock against my skin.

Obviously, there's a scar, but there seems to be more than just a
scar. The skin is still coloured like a new bruise, albeit a mild one.
The scar is almost a ring, so I suspect the cirulation may not be good,
but I'm not sure.

Should I expect the skin to become less red and less uneven? It is
competely healed, medically speaking.

Hi Iain,
I have had stitches on my arm. The scar is approximately 3 inches
long. To begin with it was raised and red and looked very dramatic
and I wore long sleeves for a long time. However, 2 years later the
scar is very much improved and is no longer raised or red. It now
looks like a white line and is much less noticeable. I would say have
a word with your doctor but in my experience it takes a long time for
the scar to improve but eventually it will look much better.
