Just to say that I've started a short course (15.2 mile) bicycle workout
after an 8 hour work day. That is, I jump on the bicycle when I get home
from work and catch the last rays of daylight.

I started this on Monday and rode again today. Today's data was a
average heart rate of 145 HB/minute over 15.2 miles for an intensity of
511.8 average heart beats per mile with 3 red lights impeding my
progress. My average speed was 17.0 mph with stops. BG at the start was
165 mg/dl and 113 mg/dl when done. Last insulin was was 15U regular at
lunch in 3 equal doses. The ride began at 6:30pm and ended at 7:30pm.
The last ~8 minutes are cool-down with walking/riding to "kick-out" the
leg muscles. The math model has been invaluable for adjusting dinner
dosing for this late workout with no hypoglycemia the next morning for
work.

The HIT training (6 minute sessions on an elliptical trainer) has little
impact on insulin therapy and this makes me discount the benefits
relative to endurance training lower insulin requirements from glycogen
rebuilding.

So Thunderbolt! How you doing with pushups?

Yesterday I amazed myself by doing 224, 115 at noon and 109 at 6 pm, 113
had been my high so I blew right past 215 and 220. I've been taking
boron, maybe it and niacin work together to make me do more? I think 250
a day is very possible.

Today I did 120 at noon, it's weird. I should do at least 110 at 6 to
make 230.

What in the world do those numbers mean?

Heh heh - when I first saw those numbers I was thinking the same
thing. "That can't be blood glucose readings, but what...?"

Seems to be exercises of some sort - situps, pushups or something like
that.

Pushups.

AFAIC, one pushup is sufficient, or, if one wants to be pendantic,
two, but any more than that is ridiculous and torture.

I did 122 at noon and 5 min later I felt like I'd done nothing, this
amazes me.

I really don't see how any guy can be a bull of a man w/o doing at least
200 pushups a day, in 2 sets.

I did 246 today, 126 at 12 and 120 at 6, the road to 250 is kinda slow
tho.

I agree! Frank is just a sour-puss. A little exercise would do him good.

You have my vote Thunderbolt.

I would think that the one(s) who do not get a (IMO) quite obvious
joke is/are the sour-puss(es). Do I *really* have to point out the other
meaning of "pushup"!?

Oops! I didn't do a little, but quite a lot. Is that OK!? :-)

I vote for W.O.R.L.D. Peace!

I did 250 pushups today, 130 at noon and 120 at 7, may never do that
many again tho.
