Dear friends.

Before leaving on holidays in just two weeks, I want to share with you
what is going to be the principal distoweb’s novelty in no more than
two months.

After sharing with yoy the ‘Physiotherapist advice’ link, created for
people suffering any movement disorder (dystonias, Parkinson,
Essential tremor, Huntington, etc), and also their caregivers, I am
glad to know it has helped many patients in a practical way. This is
the reason that has made me and our expert on physiotherapy think of
some interesting improvements.

Let me remember those people who haven’t visited that link (or those
that even don´t know it) where to find it:

http://webs.ono.com/distoweb  button ‘Physiotherapist advice’

I know how many of you have taken into account every good advice for
your concrete symptoms (spasms, pain, anxiety…), and how many of you
have emailed the physio for personal and always free advice. Please
keep on considering this option when you need it.

The novelty consists of adding some videos which help you with the
specific exercises which must alleviate your concrete symptoms.

First of all we will begin working on some videos as:

Visual yoga (for blepharospasm)
Relaxing breathing (for stress and anxiety)
Cervical auto-stretching (for spasmodic torticollis)

Afterwards we will gradually deal with most of the symptoms, and you
will be able to ask for specific and personal videos if you need this
help, obviously free of charge.

In the meantime, summer is knocking at the door, and every of us
should remember to do physical exercise. We know any single step makes
us feel much better.

Take care,

Fernando
