I think they use a type of red worm form flavoring/consistency or something.
The entire burger is not made of worms. All our food has bugs, worms and
fecal matter in it. For instance flour has X% of ground weevils etc. in it.
Tuna has X% chopped up worms in it. etc. etc. This may be unpleasant to
think about for some but its a fact.

Apparently, my conceptual organistic systems overview of the internet
system--threshold of sentience "indicator" indices as a barometer of the
potential for involuntary immersion into a human/global internet symbiosis,
etc.--were suprisingly well received, and seemed to segue quite
appropriately into the other presentations.

Is this a good time to recommend Breatharianism again, Tony? :)

I suppose. But you've got to consider the pollen and dust mites etc. in the
air. Wheres the nearest biodome?

Believe me, if there's one thing that's false about McD's it's this.
Every single one of their meat packages say "100% pure domestic beef"
and if they're not, they're going to get into huge trouble from the
USDA.

From http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a3_097b.html:

I queried McDonald's and got this response from spokesperson Jane
Hulbert:

"McDonald's hamburgers are 100 percent pure domestic beef without
fillers or seasonings. To maintain our customers' expectations and
preference for lean, flavorful hamburgers, we carefully select fine cuts
of grain fed beef and leaner cuts from dairy cattle. This is a typical
combination for quality ground beef. More importantly, we have found
that this combination results in a flavorful hamburger that also has a
significantly lower percentage of fat (20 percent) than the government
limits (30 percent)."

There's more, but this is the gist of it.

In the same way that a raven is like a writing desk.

Isn't it even a little scary that they compared prices?

I think food manufacturers are allowed by the government/USDA to have a

it.

I believe there are govenment standards for how many "insect
parts" and how much "fecal material" can be in various
foodstuffs. You probably don't want to know what they are.

I did read that the allegedly super-puritan vegetarians of India only
survive to old age because of the animal protein in insect parts and rodent
droppings in the rice.

a) I don't know if this is true

b) I don't have the reference

c) I think it's funny anyway :-)
