The universities have sent a message to the federal government, lower
the drinking age and
start up the draft !! It is a sign that students are out of control,
and there hands are tied by
threats of lawsuits. 95% of graduates are dumber than a box of rocks,
but mommy & daddy
will get them out/and through any obsticals !! That is why most are
pushed through anyway !

I have not seen any request to start up the draft.
The request to lower the drinking age was based on
an analysis of the improved drinking habits which
would result, and on the lower incidence of alcohol
problems expected.

The problem starts with the public miseducational
institutions, and is exascerbated by the students
rating faculty members even before they know what
they have learned. Faculty grading policies must be
announced to the students in advance, and the problem
is that most of the students want grades, not to
learn. This is not too surprising, given the elhi
procedures, in which trivia are stressed, and stupid
grading procedures are in effect, and the students do
not get any real learning. The educationists tell
the good students that they do not need to learn it
now, they will get it later.
