I was reading about an art school and the classes
it offers. It makes me think of the topic of an
art instructor.
I have been an art instructor myself and I
received my education in NYC and Italy.
What really is the job of an art instructor?
And why do so many students not improve even after
taking art lessons for many years?
This is a question that really needs to be
answered.
In my student days I remember the discontent on
the part of many students who felt their classes
were almost a waste of time. They felt they could
learn more by spending time in the Metropolitan
Museum of Art.
I also remember students switching from the class
of one instructor to another.
I have a very entertaining and eye opening article
on this topic of what is the real job of an art
instructor.
