First Question: Do you believe that this story is true?

Second question: Why did you choose to delete the end of the story, which
has Newsweek's reply to the PressTV's claims?

Here it is, from the link you provided:

"Newsweek has issued a statement about Bahari's arrest and called for his
immediate release, saying that the journalist's "coverage of Iran, for
Newsweek and other outlets, has always been fair and nuanced, and has given
full weight to all sides of the issues."

"He has always worked well with different administrations in Tehran,
including the current one," the statement says.

One might note that Iran has an extremely controlled press, and arrests and
jailings of journalists have been common for years.

One wonders because despite Iran's well-documented history of suppression of
free speech and the press, you seem to be very happy to forward whatever the
official Iranian press puts out.

The story you've presented has strong hints of promoting a fake "confession"
written by a Party official and "signed" by the "offender".

A propaganda piece, in other words.

But perhaps you just didn't notice, or perhaps freedom of speech don't
really mean much to you.
