In our mind, this race was lost the instant Mitt Romney's even-more-
out-of-touch wife Ann blithely and mindlessly said, "We're not really
rich," or something in that vein.
From that spark was ignited the fuse that touched off the ineffable
burning image of the Romneys as a bunch of entitled elitists, none of
whom probably ever met a person who had trouble paying a utility bill.
As for Mitch "Chinless Son-of-a-Bitch" McConnell, comeuppance is
"delicious," as The Washington Post's George Will, Charles
Krauthammer, and that other Bush-worshipper, Michael Gerson, are wont
to write.
