I have an old Sears heater that has the elements mounted inside a quartz
tube. One of the quartz tubes has broken so I started to look for a
replacement. The heater was made in '83, and Sears service told me parts
are no longer available for it. Local appliance repair places don't
stock these tubes either, even from another make or model so that I can
jimmy fix it somehow. I don't see quartz heaters being sold anymore?
Anyone know why heaters with quartz tubes are not sold anymore???
The broken tube measures 7/16" I.D. by 15.5" long. If you might know
where tubes are available, please post or email me the info
Thanks
