Hi

I have landscape lighting done by a contractor using
path and flood lights by "Vista Professional Outdoor
Lighting". I found that two of the flood lights are not
working. I opened the cover of one of them and was
not sure if the halogen bulbs needed to replaced. It
has been less than a year. Aren't they supposed to
last longer?

If I need to replace the bulbs, how do I take them out?

We like the lighting fixtures and would like to add more.
Are they available in retail?

Thanks for any info.

They are probably bi-pin type. Bi-pins have two straight pins protruding from
the bottom. Replace with a halogen of the same wattage. If indeed halogen,
then do NOT get your finger oils on the glass lamp envelope. This will cause
localized heating and shorten lamp life.
