I would like to paint the trim on my house and was wondering what paint
(Brand and Type) that people have had success with. The trim was painted
only 3 years ago, and it is already cracking. I need a paint that is
durable in sunny parts of the house and will last a long time. Also
the old paint is oil based, so if you used another type of paint, did
you use a primer also. I would like to know the brand and type.

Thanks for the info

Brad

I recently painted the trim on my ranch house white with Dutchboy Latex
satin Dirt Fighter, purchased on sale at Sears for $14.99. As I
found out later, you can get it cheaper on sale at other stores,
like Menards.

I'm very pleased, so far, with this paint. It went on much more
smoothly and covered better than the Sears Weatherbeater *junk* I
used a few years ago.

Ask me in 3 years how the new paint has held up :-)
