civilized members of these newsgroups who were occasionally worth reading.
But even back then it was rare to read anything of any intelligence. Let's
face it, Usenet does only one thing. It argues interminably on the level of
idiots.
If we were all sitting around a seminar table it would not be so bad because
there would be a professor to keep us on track. But without that professor
(moderator), we all go off the track. Before you know it, we are headed to
the lowest common denominator. That would be on the level of TM for
instance. He is bona fide idiot who caterwauls on a single subject. Yes, it
is possible to kill file such a cretin, but even so a single TM scares off
new blood and utterly destroys a small newsgroup with multiple threads.
A moderator would prevent the above scenario, but it will also prevent
anything original or exciting ever being said. Usenet is a dead end. If we
had any brains, we would give up on it. But the thought of a no good bastard
like TM succeeding in destroying a newsgroup is too much for me. Apparently,
it is my destiny to combat idiots like him. One thing is for certain. If
good men do nothing, then evil men prevail.

TM is a poor crazy bastard who just posts on his one favorite subject -
hatred of motor vehicles because they interfere with his use of the roads.
His other favorite subject is attacking Christianity. If you respond to this
poor crazy bastard, then you are a poor crazy bastard too.
He likes to reference monkeys and other wild animals normally found only in
zoos because he is most likely a wild beast himself. I think he fornicates
with monkeys, but I can't prove it.
TM should confine himself to just one thread instead of proliferating them

numerous threads will soon come to dominate a small newsgroup like RBS,

I do not care about the cross-posting, but I will step on his original posts
if he does not post anything original. That will discourage replies,
especially from newbies. He needs to learn not to multiply threads which

I guess it is unclear to me what you mean by "multiply threads". If
you mean multiple threads on a single topic, how different is that
from what you're done. A search of a newsgroup for a given topic
brings up multiple threads originated by you that address a single
topic year after year. This is somehow distinctly different?
