Excellent point.

It's all about the insult anyway. If it wasn't communist it could just
as easily have been Fascist. Tea Partiers are not noted for their
concern for reason and accuracy, it's all about the emotion, and that is
driven by fear and hatred. They tend to take at face value and believe
whatever they hear from those they like. Note that most are overtly
"Christian", it requires the suspension of critical thought process and
to go on faith. Not my cup of Tea.

So you counter with the idea that everyone who didn't sing happy
birthday to Pilosi is obviously clueless. You do know most folks aren't
extremists?

I said no such thing. But people who think she is a communist are
clueless, to use your words.

Not going to happen with the tea baggers.

It's not just about Pelosi, health care, or Obama with the Tea Baggers.
No less than Robert Murdouch's Wall Street Journal observed The that the
bill was largely based on the health care legislation that fiscal
conservative Republican governor Mitt Romney signed into law in
Massachusetts and that it contains what used to be considered Republican
ideas. The Tea Bagger's problem is that they're being marginalized in
America and they don't like it. So they yell louder hoping someone will
pay attention to them.

Yelling louder is exactly what other organized political groups have
been doing in America, and its not going to be different for these
people. Tax protesters have the right to have their tea parties, as gays
have their gay pride parades, blacks have their million man marches,
illegal aliens have their marches for America, etc.

Apparently, living in a multicultural society means screaming louder to
get what you want. Feigning persecution and harboring grievances has
been the golden road to coalition building in America --one these people
are just now discovering-- they should be admired for being so late to
the game.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Like hell it does with flake politics. It just gets ignored.
