We are assuming here that the revolution will not be motorized, and
that all movements need a hero whether real or imaginary, such as
Jesus, so we must ask... WHO?

Once we know who, everything must go downhill from there... ;)

"The 1986 film Quicksilver featuring a bicycle messenger, is an early
expression of the mythology of the messenger as daredevil stunt rider.
[35] Star Kevin Bacon rides a racing bike, a fixed gear bike..."

In this movie Kevin says "FUCK YOU!" to Wall Street and takes to the
streets as a messenger. Anything but a speculator!!! ;)

Well, the movie has its shortcomings, but Jesus and the Bible are
hardly the perfect motivational tools. I give them TWO THUMBS DOWN!

Could Jesus do those stunts???

TM is a poor crazy bastard who just posts on his one favorite subject -
hatred of motor vehicles because they interfere with his use of the roads.
His other favorite subject is attacking Christianity. If you respond to this
poor crazy bastard, then you are a poor crazy bastard too.

He likes to reference monkeys and other wild animals normally found only in
zoos because he is most likely a wild beast himself. I think he fornicates
with monkeys, but I can't prove it.

TM should confine himself to just one thread instead of proliferating them
like a poor crazy bastard. He is insane of course. I liken him to the
village idiot of olden times. The difference these days is that no one any
longer recognizes the village idiot because idiocy has become so widespread.

But I will be here to remind one and all of what a poor crazy bastard TM is.
It is mark of My Greatness that I can still recognize the village idiot even
if the rest of you can't.

You may say I'm running out of jungle metaphors, but a cyclist on the
roads of America is worth a Palestinian on the streets of the state of
Israel. If you call a cyclist a "dog" is not what dogs are worth
today, unless you are talking about a mongrel. If you call it an
"illegal alien" riding on sidewalks, he may have some value as a
gardener or cook. Calling it a "monkey" runs the chance of some
confusion with the monkeys who are driving in the "cage" on wheels,
ie. the driver.

So how much is a poor Palestinian worth in Israel?

As much as we complain, they probably have it worse in Somalia. At
least our ambulances are state of the art, where theirs are
rudimentary. Their drivers though risk it all, just to do the right
thing... Would they be cyclists in America?

I always said swords were dangerous... They cause as much unnecessary
harm as the Crucifiction, which was pretty bloody even by Roman
standards.

We need a hero with a bicycle or a banana.
