Actually, I only have my cell phone on for about 5-6 hrs / day (at most)
and never at night, while I'm driving, running errands, etc.
Since I dumped my land line, phone calls have been a very minor
concern. I've never had a phone call that required my immediate
attention (on that couldn't be returned at a later time).
I'll never understand the obsession to answer every call at the first
ring. Along that line, it's kind of amusing to see / hear people
taking on their cell phones in rest rooms.
A few months back we saw a couple having dinner out where both were on
their phones waiting for it to be served. My wife & I were convinced
they were talking to each other.
I agree. Aside from chatting, cell phones, or what not. You will also
get distracted by people living in the same house if you work at home.
they will ask for help, talk to you and call you. For working at home,
you need to a separate room and remind everyone in the house that you
are working and keep distractions to minimum.
