Kepe in mind a lot of cheaper netbooks don't use the regular intle-like chip,
but instead use the mobile-device ARM chip, and WinCE not WinXP. What that
means is not all the software you might need will work. You might try
sourceforge.net first to see if they have what you need in an ARM version.

If you are going to go for ARM, consider the 'A-Pad's which use Android.
