I disagree. GWB did what he thought was right and was not very clever
at all.

That premise is debatable. I take exception to the idea that W is
capable of "thought" in the first place. And VFW (the OP?) is a known
troll who posts on many, many newsgroups. It's been plonked by most
people.

Maybe I missed something.

I must have a different set of "values". I find most of what it spews to be
objectionable.

So this individual is suppose to be a troll? And this is a troll post? While I
don't agree with all the statements, I did find it an interesting food for
thought. Thank you, VFW, for posting it. It made an interesting read in a news
group that has gone mostly to bickering and spam.

>The greatest secret of production ----- Saving waste

I find this thought very much on topic for this group.

I am seeing much waste in product packaging. I like the concept of having my
own re-usable shopping bags because it cuts back on the number of plastic
shopping bags entering my home. Yes, you could haul the empty clean bags back
to the stores that recycle them if you remember to take them when shopping. Or
you can use the plastic shopping bags as stuffing for outside use cushions.
When purchasing pillows, be wary some of the less expensive pillows have plastic
bags as filler. I have concerns over those being dangerous for use, especially
with children.

Other ways we save on waste production is to use food we grow ourselves. The
portions of the plant we do not use can be fed to some of the livestock and some
is safe only to be used as compost. In other words, don't feed tomato vines or
leaves to any human or animal. Tomato is a relative to deadly nightshade and
the plant is very toxic. Only the fruit is safe to eat.
