I've also bought stuff from Monoprice and Deal Extreme, as well as a
number of ebay and Amazon sellers without problems.

Read the feedback (discount the really stupid comments) and don't be
stupid yourself.

A few cheap DealExtreme items were dead right out of the box. DX asked
me to email photos (not the items) and credited my credit card
immediately.

Even if a company isn't virtuous, I'm sure that the knowledge that the
credit card companies can refuse to do business with them provides any
moral guidance they might be lacking.

Haven't bought from them in a LONG time. They were fine when I did.

Now using Newegg and Amazon.

Not a clue, but I bought my toner ($21 for the large-size cartridge)
from '2S Toner', one of the buy.com sellers, and was happy.
