Go to your bank or credit union and apply for it.

If you don't have an established banking relationship, you can try the
on-line banks, but good luck finding a "frugal" loan rate in that case...

If you own a house then a home equity loan (HELOC) is an option. You
have to shop for the lowest rate and best terms.

Without a house or other collateral you are not getting a 100K loan.

What about a 6 figure mutual & bond fund larger than the amount that I don't want to break into.

What about it? Go to the bank and apply. Nobody here is going to loan
