I use Amazon. They often have several sources for any particular size
battery, and the multi-packs (if you have several phones) are usually a
great deal. Just watch out for shipping charges, which are more than
the batteries themselves when the price is "too low"...

I would appreciate suggestions for online sites that sell such batteries
for a reasonable price.

It is almost cheaper to just buy a new phone. You can get a decent V-tech
cordless phone for around $14--battery packs are about $12

Not if you get a decent cordless phone that uses AA or AAA LiOn batterys.

You can get them at yard/garage sales for a hell of a lot less than that.

Not if you have a decent cordless phone that uses AA or AAA LiOn batterys.

So enlighten me, which cordless phones use AA or AAA LiOn batteries and how
much do they cost?

Sorry, brainfart, I meant AA or AAA NiMh batterys.

Hordes of them do, all the Panasonics for starters.

No more than the others.

In article <a71kr7...@mid.individual.net>,
so you are saying that the battery packs aren't around $12?

That is with $4.95 S&H for a grand total of $9.45 to $13.45--like I said it
is a better deal to just buy a new phone.

Yes, a decent AA or AAA NiMh doesn't cost anything like that.
