No. The acceleration is REALLY tempting, though. I scared the shit out
of my family when I drove a friend's.

What do you want? If an expensive super car, buy one. If you just want
cheap transportation don't even think about. The licensing and insurance
alone will probably cost you more than the gas.

Now that I think about it I really don't want to go anywhere at all.

At $38K, the base Model 3 is NOT an "expensive supercar". While
licensing is more expensive in many states ($225 premium in WA),
insurance should be no more than an equivalent gas-engine car (mine is
the same as the 2010 Lexus I replaced). Fuel is about 1/4 the cost of
gasoline for a 30 MPG car (more if you charge at peak times on
time-of-use plans; less if you charge at off-peak times and/or have your
own solar power). Maintenance is almost nonexistent (brake fluid and
coolant every 2 years).

Thank you, this is the kind of answer I am looking for,

I am in my 40's, never had a DL and live very close to a dealership.

Not particularly interested and my income has dropped to near zero but maybe it can still somehow improve my quality life.

Probably gotta do something about the relapse first.
