(We are talking about the new laws restricting marijuana in Holland.
The title above is just my "humble opinion," not something
statistically accurate. I think most statistics are inaccurate or
manipulated anyway, starting with the one that declares 90% of
Americans to be "religious")

It is my contention that 90% of the evil/dumb laws passed in the
Western world are voted upon by the Christian/elderly segment of the
population.

Why they get away with such privilege is beyond my wisdom.

Maybe it's because they are evil/dumb.

I think that's beyond my wisdom too...

One question common among the elderly is, "Who's going to cut
Medicare?" They never say, "Gee, time to put that hungry lion in the
medical industry on a diet."

That's too deep for them.

"Sometimes it feels like we're being eaten alive by the powerful in
our fight for equal rights. NURSING HOMES, hospitals, and insurance
company lobbies contribute mightily to re-election campaigns and in
return, legislators pass laws that favor them, not us. They seem
invincible."

Let me tell you this much:

1- My life is in unnecessary danger just for riding a bicycle, at
every driveway, at every corner, at every bridge. And this riding is
about doing the moral thing, ie. fight Climate Change as well as
keeping a mental and physical balance,

2- Dying now will avoid me the pains that go with old age,

3- I see the old farts looking at me funny when I ride on their space
--the sidewalk-- and I feel like telling them, "Hey you, why don't you
vote for the candidate that creates space for me?"

Nobody offers 'bike facilities' anyway, so the least they can do is
stay away from voting. So I'm ready for the assassin's bullet.

I should be directing my efforts toward the puppeteer --and I do-- but
I've been personally touched by nice old folks being turned into bad
selfish Republicans by being glued to the radio.

NOTE: Not even the Funeral Industry will get my remains, though the
hole is practically paid for. It was sold to my mother without my
knowledge, something perfectly legal in the money jungle. The lions
also prey on the very young and old. But the young deserve pity, not
scolding. Their fate is very different from the old because they do
NOT vote. Medicare for them was denied by GW Bush without a blink from
the Christian/elderly. That's the way things are in the jungle. I want
my body to be fed to the real predators --not the greedy ones--
perhaps the sharks or alligators. Is there such accommodation? Well,
just burn me in the Eternal Fire dedicated to the Truth.

This is going with a bang...

(that's rather young music)

I wouldn't go as far as to say they don't ride bike ever but:

1- The Environment is ZERO priority for them, where most of them deny
Climate Change,

2- They vote for "family values" AND warmongering candidates, not road
safety or infrastructure of any kind,

3- Jesus is coming anyway, so who cares about the environment?

The question is HOW MANY BIKES WE SEE AT CHURCH?

They have bred a sheep that votes but who does so to feed the wolves.

A democracy based on ignorant voters amounts to a tyranny of the
idiots or IDIOCRACY....

How could they "buy" a war that didn't cost them a penny? That's dumb,
huh? And now reality and BS are in conflict. Moreover, anything good
for the country, from fast trains to bike lanes, is evil or at least
socialist.

They have a single-minded statement: NO MORE TAXES. Sure, the country
is nearly bankrupt.

This is yet another example of the dumb/apathetic voter ignoring the
"enemy at the gates"...

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The U.S. consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico's
most violent drug war city, warned on Friday that cartels may be
seeking U.S. targets in a possible escalation of violence.

Gee, another way to cut the deficit and save lives which is not on the
table. What about LEGALIZING DRUGS? Whose morality would be hurt if
not that of the hypocritical Christian? Why are our prisons
overflowing? Why have they turned into profitable enterprises?
(profitable for some --the wolves)

What's the business of government in your private life anyway? I smell
Christian.
