veil, alterations, and cleaning) because I want to make sure that this

Sounds quite overpriced for used clothes.
And besides, using it is not the first step in frugality.

She probably does, but she only has this one used dress, size 4
(supposedly) to unload. That's the last time she would ever see a size
four without another digit in front of it anyway. She's willing to
take the chance on what they used to call in marketing school, "The
bigger fool theory."
